BIOGRAPHY

Hello! We are Female Gayo, the official K-Pop dance team under the Korean-American Student Association (KASA) at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor that performs at events hosted by AAPI organizations and other dance groups on campus. We do not limit ourselves to just K-Pop; we also branch out into Western hip-hop styles that were created by Asian choreographers and/or have touched base with Korean artists. Regardless of our diverse backgrounds, we strive to showcase Korean culture through our common passion for dance. This ultimately deepens our friendship, bonds our team together, and creates a stronger connection to the greater U of M dance community. Our vision is to share the culture that we love while growing as a performance team and as individuals.
